Papers delivered by Manufacturing Division members at ASEE conferences are included in the METEC database. ASEE members are active users of METEC, submitters of materials, and reviewers of materials.

The Society of Manufacturing Engineers is the world's leading professional society advancing manufacturing knowledge and influencing more than half a million manufacturing practitioners annually. Through its communities, publications, expositions and professional development resources, SME promotes an increased awareness of manufacturing engineering and keeps manufacturing professionals up to date on leading trends and technologies. 
   
SME Education Foundation







The SME Education Foundation (SME-EF) has designated METEC as the dissemination point for all its projects. The SME-EF and METEC also work together to promote Project Lead the Way (PLTW) in the State of Ohio. The SME-EF has also allocated significant funds to establish several summer youth camps in Ohio using elements of PLTW and STEPS Academies (Science, Technology, & Engineering Program), SME's successful model for engaging middle school students in technical activities including manufacturing.
   
IEEE








Through its global membership, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc (IEEE) is a leading authority on areas ranging from aerospace systems, computers and telecommunications to biomedical engineering, electric power and consumer electronics among others. Members rely on IEEE as a source of technical and professional information , resources and services. IEEE and the NCME have agreed that METEC will provide clearinghouse services related to enhancing the number and variety of quality educational materials relevant to the electrical and electronics field.

LEAN Education Academic Network







Lean Education Academic Network (LEAN) is a group of university educators dedicated to the task of implementing lean education in US higher academia, as well as continuous improvement of lean education in the classroom through sharing of knowledge and teaching materials, collaboration, and networking among colleagues. LEAN has designated METEC as the primary database and clearinghouse for educational materials of their membership.
